Nosing around
I am starting to decide that this big hairy mutt isn't so bad. She is very careful around me, and lets me go pretty much where ever I want without bothering me too much (although she does have a tough time leaving me alone when I just want to see how fast I can hop, and that scares me a little sometimes). Any how, we're getting to be friends, and even though I am pretty sure she's getting bigger by the day (can that really be natural??), I am still tall enough to reach up and touch her nose...
Long ear naptime
It's very important to take naps. I believe I have mentioned that before. I am helping this big hairy mutt that the big bunnies brought home a while ago to learn the importance of a good nap. A few weeks ago, I showed her how to kick out her feet and take a nice snooze. I included a picture of us in case you want to see how it's done.
Lady and the Tramp....or Bunny and the Dog, whichever you prefer...
So, the big bunnies in my house decided to get a dog. Need I say more (I think I do, and I think I need to say <ew!!>)? Well, she's not all bad. When she first got here, she was only a little bigger than me, and she does love to follow me (the big girl bunny tells me that the dog adores me, but all I can notice is that hot, stinky dog breath...blech!). Anywho, a few weeks ago, the bunnies brought home some carrot tops for me, and they were soooooo delicious. But don't you know the dog wanted to try some, too? She walked right over to the farthest carrot top green from me and carefully picked it up (trying to make sure I didn't notice, but of course I did!), and then she pulled it back. We had a little lady and the tramp (in this case, I think I was the sweet one and the dog was the tramp!) moment where we were both sharing the same carrot top. All of the big bunnies who were watching said, "Awwwww!" and I guess it was kind of fun and sweet, but I sure hope this doesn't mean I have to start sharing all of my delicious greens....
Big snooze
I want to take the time to remind everyone how important it is to take the time to relax each and every day. Me? I'm a nap person, and I find that if I take several snoozes during the day, I stay at the top of my chomping game. If you're not a nap person, just take some time to relax and let your ears down. But be careful...if you do like to take snoozes and you enjoy snoozing next to your hay, don't poke yourself in the eye with a hay stalk. Eye ulcers are not fun! (Even if I did get to see my favorite friend, Dr. Mickley, because of it)
The best part of waking up - bunny style
Good morning! I am enjoying a morning nanner today (you might know it better as a banana). I find that starting the day with a banana is a sure-fire way to make my day great. Hope yours is filled with lots of digging, re-decorating, naps, and (above all!) joyful hopping.
The Big Kahuna (aka my tunnel)

Some of you have asked me what my full tunnel looks like. It's big - like mega-bunny big. I wanted to give you some perspective, so I stretched myself waaaaaaay out next to my tunnel. You can see that it's like 5 times my size, and I go through it all by myself. I have also bravely undertaken significant renovations of this tunnel. Having only the one public entry on the side didn't suit me, so I have created a secret side door entry that no one knows about (and you better not tell anyone, either!!).
Diving into my daily greens
I love greens. I mean, I REALLY love greens (not as much as bananas, but way more than Critical Care in a syringe). Today, the big girl bunny let me stick my head in the mother load of greens, and it was amazing!!
I hope your day was half as great as mine and that you got all the greens you wanted, too!
Toy or food - you decide

This picture is a little old - the grass ball that I am standing behind is now just a long rope that often seems to be in my way (fortunately, I am not shy about moving things to where ever I think is best). Any how, when my big bunnies first got this for me, I wasn't sure what to do with it. It smelled like something I might want to eat, but it rolled around and sometimes bumped into me. Well, after it bumped into me one too many times, I decided to teach it a lesson and started chomping it. Good choice (if I do say so myself.)! I kind of wish I had a new grass ball to chomp...maybe the Easter Bunny will bring me one.
Chillaxing - bunny style

Hi there. I sometimes like to spend some time chillaxing on my back (not really, but I let the big bunnies think so, because they seem to enjoy it when I put up with this). I realized looking at this picture that I look a little like Jabba da Hut...apparently I haven't been hopping as intensely as I need to for all of the yummy food I get. Hmm...have to work on that. In the mean time - please ask the big bunnies to avoid giving zerberts/raspberries to my chubby white belly...it's embarrassing! I have an image to maintain, you know!
Feeling back to myself
I am feeling back to myself today. I had a rough weekend. Late Thursday night, I got a bad tummy ache. Luckily the big bunnies in my house were up late and they noticed that I was acting funny. I had to go back to visit my friend, Dr. Mickley, on Friday. I got a bunch of fluid under my skin (the big boy bunny said it made me look like a camel!) and when I got home, my family made me eat some yucky stuff called Critical Care. Tell you what, though, I felt so crummy that I didn't even mind that much. Enough on the negative, though - as I said earlier, I am back to myself today, and I was able to get in some quality time beating up the blanket this morning. And it was gooooooooood!
Bag Lunch
Frugality is in my nature. In the wild, bunnies have to make due with leaves, twigs, and grasses - things that even a lot of ruminants wouldn't have a prayer of surviving off of. But at home, I like to make sure I don't have to scrounge around for the bare minimum. I pack a bag lunch of juicy lettuces (sometimes spiked with cilantro, parsley, or basil!) and dandelion greens for dessert. And as you might have guessed, I am a pretty hungry bunny - that's why my lunch bag is bigger than me (but I am "strong like bull," so I can move it around just fine!).
Oxygen Bar - Far Out!
I recently learned of a local oxygen bar for those of us of the long ear persuasion. Here's a shot of me getting the hay scented oxygen - what a trip! Although, waking up from that air was a bit tougher, and I had the strangest dream that I lost something very important during my O2 time....enh, I'm sure it was just my imagination.
Bunny chores
It's hard work being part of a team. I know the big girl bunny hates to fold laundry, so I pitch in where I can. First, I smooth the clothes out and then I dig at them to get them folded under me.
Huh? You say laundry isn't supposed to get scrunched up? Where'd you learn to fold??
It's a bunny's life
It's important for a bunny to keep himself looking good. I ask the big girl bunny in my house for a sports mani-pedi about once a month (the sports mani-pedi is for boys. None of that girly nail polish included)
My favorite spot
This is one of the best napping spots ever. It's under my house so I feel good and burrowed and my ramp blocks some of the sunlight so it's not too too bright. But there's only room for me, and if you try to muscle in on my turf, I'll introduce you to my fists of fury (or possibly charge an intense head rub tax -- your choice!)
Sir Hops Alot's Arrival
When I first got to my new home, I decided to see how comfy the new house mates were to climb on before I decided to make it my forever home. Lucky for them, my big bunny friends passed the test!
